I’m a poet, copywriter, and brand strategist, with over 20 years’ experience. I’ve worked with famous brands in the UK, US, Europe and India to develop campaigns and communications for them. I’ve also worked with startups from when they’ve been a scribble on a napkin, and as they scale, to position them and define their brand voice.

And with three collections published, and extensive performing, editing, teaching and mentoring experience, poetry lives through every aspect of my creativity. I also review poetry for The Guardian.

I’ve been on the board of 26, a group dedicated to promoting creativity and writing in business, and served as a judge for the D&AD Awards in 2017 and 2021.

I also chair the board of Wasafiri, the magazine for international contemporary writing. I’ve been a judge for the Costa Book Awards, and the Forward Prizes for Poetry. And I’m a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
